This contemporary job consisted of changing out 2x2 type wood spindles and replacing with iron spindles. Another interesting feature - the KCWood designer & homeowner had an inspiration to add a unique flair by changing the trim board color to a highly figured birdseye maple trim piece - stained to an accent color. This trim piece covered the damage of removing the old spindles as seen on the top rail. |
